Harris Poll: UN Appreciated!

A new Harris Poll shows that majorities of adults in the five biggest European Countries and the United States believes the United Nations does more good than harm. Of the six countries, Americans are most familiar with the work the UN does, while Germans are the least familiar. “With one exception, where the UN should be headquartered, adults in the five largest European countries and the United States share a sense of comfort almost, towards the UN,” Harris reports. February 26 – Council for International Visitors Potluck

The Boulder Council for International Visitors has invited us to participate in their pot-luck meeting, Thursday, February 26 at 6:30pm at St. Aidan’s Church, 2425 Colorado Avenue, Boulder.  There is plenty of parking behind the church.  The speaker will be a visiting high school student, Christian Brito, from the Galapagos Islands. The BCIV provides hospitality and program activities for State Department-sponsored international visitors who express a desire to visit Boulder.  The potluck is a chance for us to become involved in a program that helps build positive international relations.
